I am often asked questions about photography and my business. Here are some of the things that I often answer for people.
Q: What should I wear for my Engagement Sitting?
A: I recommend for my couples sittings that they wear cloths that are not opposite in color. Example, black shirt on him and a white shirt on her. This makes for one person to stand out and the other to “hide”. Wearing colors that are similar always look sharp.
Q: Which is a better location for a sitting, in a studio or outdoors?
A: It depends on what look you are going for. Typically studio photos take on a very traditional look, where as being out at a location is very relaxing, loose and active.
Q: Should we bring our pet?
A: Yes, I love working with pets.
Q: What is your address?
A: Email me and I will gladly give you my shipping address.
Q: What’s a good camera to buy?
A: Look for more optical zoom over digital zoom, having a ‘shoe mount’ is great for when you want to add a flash. Cameras that allow you to choose your own settings is also very handy. Largely it depends on what you plan to use it for, (small and portable, or larger with features), and always, your budget.
Q: I want to frame my new photos, what do I do now?
A: I offer affordable custom framing options, I will help you get exactly what you what.
Q: Do you know any good DJ’s?
A: I have worked with a lot of good DJ’s and would love to pass their names on to you.
Q: Do you require a deposit to hold our wedding date?
A: Yes, I require a $200 deposit to reserve your wedding date.
