I am often asked questions about photography and my business. Here are some tips for a successful sitting, to help get photos you will love for years.
~ Pick out your cloths a few days in advance, this allows you time to go shopping if you are not happy with what you have on hand.
~ Men, if you shave, shave the night before to avoid any razor burn.
~ If you have small children, plan your sitting around them, use the best part of their day.
~ If you have accessories that you want to include make sure they are clean and presentable.
~ Make sure all your changes of cloths are ironed and wrinkle free.
~ Do not start your sitting hungry, it takes time and it might be a few hours before we are done.
~ When making an order directly to me, print off an order form from my site, it helps you and I keep track of what you would like printed.
~ If you like to listen to music, bring your MP3 player along.
~ Go for a drive, write down places and areas to visit for your sitting.
~ When ordering, consider your whole family, even “uncle Bob” who would want a photo.
~ Don’t feel the need to reschedule if your child has a scratch or bruise on their face, it will actually add memories to the photos reminding you of their personalities. I can also retouch most blemishes.
~ Come to your sitting ready to relax and have fun, being “camera shy” will show.
